fb flashback from June 13, 2011: Mars - October 20 at 8 p.m. This is the movie from the Southern Circuit Films, shown at the Lucas Theatre, where Joe Guy and I became good friends. We both knew each other from events at the Muse Arts Warehouse, as well as Jim Reed's Wednesday night PFS movies, but it was after this movie that we truly hit it off. We had both walked together to the post-movie reception at B. Matthews, then sat together and talked. Very nice memory!
fb flashback from Oct. 15, 2011: "I just found out: my honorary niece Lecy was married yesterday!!!!! Wow!!! I am SOOO very happy for her and the children!" [She is the mother of Damon's first two children, Damon and Carissa. She had just married a tow truck driver named Shane.]
