lemonade at two first posts

"Lemonading"
is defined as
"a way of approaching problems or challenges
in life
that involves remaining positive and optimistic
and seeing them
as opportunities for growth
or improvement".
Thanks, cuz'n Stephanie Mostashari, for
posting that on fb!
I try to keep that attitude all the time, but especially for long-term projects like this renovation.
Yes, I speak of the American Legion's Two First Posts of Georgia.

Yes, we had another meeting tonight, on my Tina Tuesday.
That's because several members can't make it on Wednesdays.
We've had a good bit of progress since the last time I was there
That first photo is of the new storage closet, where the wire harness will be.
It's also the future location for the chair and table carts.
The second photo is looking at the corner of that storage closet from one of the doorways inside the ballroom space for events.
The third photo is from the other doorway of that ballroom, but this time looking at the small conference room.
So good to see all that Justin Wells, the contractor, has accomplished!

This is the part of the group that was there tonight for the meeting.
We convened in the canteen.
From Post 36, we had me, Doug, Billy, and Michael T.
Post 500 had Brenda, Sabrina, John P., Eddie, and Eric.
The most notable thing that transpired tonight?
We have officially hired a Building Manager!
That would be Eric Bolden!
He'll be in charge of setting up and taking down for all events, as well as being there to open and close the building for each event.
Good to have that decided!!!
