love for earth day ... headed 2 4 lil blondes

Three weeks ago, I sent love in the mail going south.
Each of my four great-nieces received two sheets from the 2025 Earth Day celebration, picked up for them in April but never delivered.
One was a coloring sheet, the other had dried water paint squares for them to wet and apply to the picture about recycling.
I forgot to take photos of those, but I remembered for this second set.

Both are sheets to color in with the plethora of crayons they own.
The upper one is a general scene of wetlands, featuring several types of birds, and reminds me of the Jepson's missing katniss.
The second photo is of a gopher tortoise, the same creature that stars in this year's outdoor exhibit of local art in the windows on Barnard Street.
That exhibit had not yet been revealed when I attended Earth Day at Daffin Park in April.
Right place, right time, that had been!
These two coloring pages have lots of information for the girls to read.
For the younger C-A-L-M girls, they will need a little help with the words, but the twins, being older and headed to fifth grade, can assist their cousins.
That's what family does!
(smile!)

Thanks to Coastal Communities United for the gift of these informational pages for the children in my life!
