Yes, there are six movies in the photo here, so that should represent two weeks' worth of my A*List movies.
However, that scifi one at the bottom right was from last week, so it doesn't count this time around.
That spy flick in the upper left doesn't count for A*List, either, as I merely purchased a matinee ticket, but didn't actually have time to watch it.
I just wanted to make sure to get the 3000 Bonus Points from AMC for its opening weekend.
I do intend to see it, I do, but I have other plans today, and I'm keeping my weekend flexible as it's the birthday weekend of my first niece.
Gotta have my choices open!
(smile!)
That leaves four movies to account for with my dance card, doesn't it?
Ah, but that's not quite true, is it?
I've already talked of those two from the Monday triple header, haven't I?
Afghani robot builders and the tale of Gray Alys and the shapeshifter!
That just leaves the top center flick and the top right.
Ah, but I paid for that one, as "One Of Them Days" is now a fan-fave and could be seen for just 6 bucks.. so, I did watch it again, as I have wanted to do!
So, now it's down to the true third film for this week's A*List.
I had been concerned, as "Night Of The Zoopocalypse" is a Clive Barker-inspired creation, a man known for horror films.
Still, seeing that David Harbour was voicing the wild lion, I took a chance - and loved it!
He's the Santa I like so much in "Violent Night", remember?
I loved the interplay between his lion and Gracie, the young wolf, and I know that is mostly because it hearkens back to that of his Santa and Trudy, the little girl.
Just marvelous!
Plus, the animated film was scifi, showing the effects of a bunny eating a piece of a meteorite that fell in the Colepepper Zoo, proving once again that bunnies are evil!
Like we didn't already know that from "Monty Python And The Holy Grail" or from Anya's song in "Once More, With Feeling" - lol!
Yes, I do believe I'd like to see this movie again!
However, not right now... Savannah VOICE Festival is calling me!
(smile!)
