3 mixtapes, 2 guardian films, and a Gunn on Jeopardy!

Honestly, it was a post-Christmas miracle befitting that countdown carol!

It all started at the end of February, when Comcast was giving out Diamond Rewards like they were candy, which is how I view the $1 Movie Nights.

Plus, that last week of February found Starz as the channel for free viewing... and they had "Guardians Of The Galaxy" available!!!

I watched it twice, too, dancing to the songs and reveling in the story!

That's when I also looked in my cassette cabinet and found I had three mixtapes!!!

Those would be the one I made in Okinawa in 1981 for music therapy, the one I made a few years later for dancing, and the one received from Jeff for my bday40.

The StarLord only had two... time to search for "GOTG:V2" and recreate the Marvel Film Festival I'd gone to years ago!

I found the movie, too, and got it with one of my $1 Movie Night Rewards!

So, then I watched the second movie... and re-watched the first one... and watched the second one again... then the first one more time... you catch my drift!

Glorious, marvelous, fun with those Guardians of the Galaxy and their righteous soundtracks of music from the 70's and 80's!

And tonight, up pops one of the brothers responsible for that gift to me... wow.

Sean Gunn, the younger brother of the one who wrote and directed those movies, the one who got to have fun and play Yondu's head honcho, was on "Celebrity Jeopardy".

That's the show where known actors play to benefit a charity of their choice and his was Women For Women International.

Good for him!

Good for them, too, as the 50-year-old is one smart cookie and won big tonight.

I'm so glad I caught this show!

Right place, right time!

(smile!)
