From being the owner of the summer-league, college baseball team in 2016 with the funny name, now Jesse Cole has marketed his brand right onto the CW in a major league sports stadium in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Wow.
I made sure to let my blue-sky cousin known, as she had been so excited about the team when their story aired on "CBS Sunday" while I was there for Aunt Linda's birthday.
Penny said they would be watching, and so would my aunt!
I also let others know, including Jeff and Amy, my brothers, a bunch of friends here in town, and even cuz'n Jeff!
Then I tuned in to watch, too.
After all, the pre-game shenanigans were to be aired this time!
Those are usually missing from the YouTube simulcast games.
Sure enough, the team had the "First Banana" pitch... then the "Banana Baby" routine came... followed by the little kid making a home run while the players scrambled like Keystone Kops to try to get him out!
The Professor came out next and established all the rules of Banana Ball, including a couple of rules that were new to me.I'm glad I got to talk to him while he was in Daytona Beach!
Then the Banana players were announced for that matinee game.Yes, that tall drink of water in the cowboy hat - and boots - is none other than Kyle Luigs, the pitcher who has been with the team since its college-league days.
Bill LeRoy has been with them that long, too. He's the catcher extraordinaire, as always.
Now, pardon me while I watch the game so I can discuss with my cousin and others later!
As I told her, you have to pay attention 'cause Banana Ball moves fast!
At least we can go to the YouTube channel to catch anything we miss!
(smile!)
