post-tea family dinner in tall'ee

Where were we for this final celebration as a family?
Aunt Linda had chosen Carrabbas, one of my favorites!
Smitty had left after the party finished up, but Tony and Laura stayed on.
I'm so glad they did!
As Tony had told me, Aunt Linda had always been kind to him and he wanted to honor all those years of kindness.
I love that!
I love that they chose to sit by me, too.
Laura was to my left, Tony was across from her, and Bobby was my right-hand man.
(smile!
From this camera perspective, there's my blue-sky Penny in front of the peace-fingered Alex, while Jacob is holding his daughter, Neveah, and blocking the view of Tiana.
Past them are Aunt Linda, Bobby, me, and Laura.
Back down to the waitress's end of the table are Steve, Tiana's BFF and child, and Aaron holding Julia, followed by Emily and Tony.
Wow... that's a good picture!

I managed to catch Tiana in a few photos after the meal.
By that time, the little girls were past their bed times.
Jacob was talking to Aaron while we were all saying our goodbyes, but I snapped this pic and the next of them.
Tiana was holding Nevaeh and Julia was nestled in her Daddy's arms.

Then, just a moment later, the scene had shifted!
The parents holding the wiggly children had changed their stance to better keep them aloft.
All the rest of the family were going to their cars, so Jacob and Aaron had also moved in preparation of reaching the door and heading for home.
When I flip back and forth between the two photos, I have a little mini-movie!
What a sweet memento of this time together!
Thank you, Aunt Linda, for hosting this meal for all of us!
Let's hope we all see each other sooner rather than later.
(smile!)
