bananas, baseball, and the artist!

After unsuccessful attempts to convert the physicist and the psychologist to the sport, I very much enjoyed Bill's company! Odd, right? The artist is a big fan, but the scientists, who should have been able to appreciate the logic and strategy of baseball, continue to be oblivious to the charms of the sport.
Ah, well!
Their loss!
How very nice it was to share the Bananas with a man who truly loves baseball!
We even quaffed a beer together, and ate hotdogs, and enjoyed some popcorn, too. Why? Because Bill believes the game experience isn't quite complete without those items. I agree with the latter two!
He very much enjoyed having Diana take care of our orders, too. No missing of a single run, hit, or error when you're sitting in a box seat!
(smile)
He even agreed with me that the Savannah Bananas offer excellent entertainment value. Where else can you feed - and I mean, truly FEED - a family of four, and provide three hours of entertaining events, and foster a love of outdoor sports, for only sixty dollars?
Nowhere in this town.
I'd be willing to bet you'd not find such a deal anywhere else.
We have it better than the supporters of the Gastonia Grizzlies, who are owned by the same folks that own the Bananas.
Pretty sweet deal we have!

As for the entertainment, here's what we had tonight:
The throwing of the first banana!
The "maids" cleaning the bases and ballplayers!
Bananas in pants!
The search for the Golden Banana!
"Are you smarter than a Banana" game!
The dancing Bananas of the infield!
Bananas salute the troops!

And the Bananas even gave us a really tight game! a definite pitcher's duel, but the Bananas slipped past the Florence Red Wolves by one run. Hooray!

Thanks for joining me, Bill!
I so enjoyed my birthday:58 evening with you!
