summer school all done!

Nobody says it better,
to paraphrase Carly Simon.
As Alice Cooper put it, "School's... OUT... for... summer!".

No more pencils,
no more books,
no more STUDENTS'
apathetic looks.

If only the students had done the assigned homework prior to the exams...

If only the students had read over their notes between classes...

If only the students had put forth the amount of effort that the cost of the class warranted.

Seriously.

Why would you pay five hundred and twenty-six dollars to take the three-credit-hour lecture class and then not apply yourself to successfully completing the work?
It only met for eight weeks, twice per week, for two hours and twenty minutes each session.
Some of the students didn't even bother to show up for all of the sixteen lectures.
Some of the students didn't even bother to show up for all of the five exams.
None of the students completed the five homework assignments, even though they were granted several extensions on the due dates.

I am sure that none of the students obtained the grade they had wanted...
but they certainly received the grade they earned.

i thank You, God, for granting me the opportunity to work this summer.
It was certainly a learning experience for me.
