bananas and wild mustangs!

What a beautiful Monday evening for baseball, isn't it?
This is one of my favorite pre-game promotions this summer.
A little kid comes up and hits the ball off the tee... and these boisterous boys of summer become the baffled, bonkers, bumbling Bananas while the child is rounding the bases.
It's like a caper by the Keystone Cops!
(smile!)

The fellows looked pretty sharp in their dark blue jerseys and bright yellow pants!
I especially liked this shot, with Adam Gauthier setting off his uniform with a yellow-wrapped bat.
Quite stylish!

Even the windoo was being extra stylish as he signaled the arrival of the ninth inning!
The Bananas tried to rally, but not even style could bring them back to the top after the Mustangs had broken the tie.
